There is no word for the emotion, when you don’t know whether you are going to be affected by a calamity occurring before you. The catastrophic effects of which, can set back your career and put you in a drifting state for some time. Many would find better opportunities and in fact reach a rank of far greater success they would otherwise have. But the sheer fact that everything is imperceptible in the darkness of the future is enough to cause nervousness at the moment.

You never know how your future will turn out in the current pathway either. But at least you have convinced yourself that there is some prospect, if not too brilliant. That comfort zone is shattered into pieces in a split second leaving you into a shock that takes some time to recover from. It is probably the hardest thing to fill this void with positive thoughts.

And finally when you gather that you have bypassed the disaster, a feeling of relief is spawn…the feeling that motivates you to concentrate further on your choices and reevaluate your thoughts. At the same time an urge to comfort others rises in your mind and you attempt to do that, most of the time fruitlessly. You always wish that the day would have never come and keep thinking what can you do differently now.

The small things and attention to details, which mattered before, now look like a few insignificant issues and you feel ridiculous to have focused on luxuries and substance, many of which was not in reality necessary for you to make a good quality living. You suddenly realize that you have been egotist and boastful of what you have achieved and that it can be taken away in a blink of an eye. This consciousness of power of fate forces you to revisit the realm of faith once again.
