Since 47,895 Seekers were saved from the Goblin attack some weeks ago, the plucky robots have been making their way home from far across the Metaverse, back to the lands of The Found.
Over the past weeks, we’ve heard distant transmissions growing ever stronger, signaling that the first of the Seekers will soon arrive, that they were traveling closer with each passing moment…
And now finally, the Great Return is upon us… and although the journey continues for many Seekers, some have already started to arrive home.
Returning from the outer reaches of the most far-flung corners of distant digital worlds, starting yesterday and continuing over the coming weeks, the Seekers will arrive in their ragtag groups, these survivors, these heroes, these friends; and as they arrive, we can slowly expect their forms to be revealed to us…
Here’s what you need to know.
Q — Will the reveal of the Seekers work in the same way as the Beacons?
A — No. Reveal of the Seekers will be staggered, with Standard beacons beginning to reveal today and continuing throughout the week. The next tier of beacons will then be revealed after that. We don’t know where the Seekers have come from, but they’re unlikely to all show up at exactly the same time!`
Q — I have a standard beacon and I have refreshed my metadata, why is my Seeker still unrevealed?
A — Seekers will not all arrive at their Standard beacons at the same time. Your Seeker is finding its way home from the farthest reaches of the metaverse.
Q — If my Seeker has not arrived home yet, does that mean my Seeker is rarer than those that have?
A — No, it just means that it had further to travel. Rarity is not determined by arrival time.
Q — When will all of the Beacons be done revealing?
A — All Seekers will be revealed within the next month — it takes a while for 47,895 Seekers to traverse the metaverse! Be patient…
Q — Will the rarities on the marketplaces be accurate once Standard reveals?
A — No. Once the entire collection is revealed, the rarities will become accurate over time as the API catches up.
Q — Do the Seekers replace the Beacon as an NFT?
A — Yes, once your Seeker has revealed, your Beacon will no longer display.
Q — When will the Incentivised Seeker Node Network go live?
A — The Incentivised Node Network will be the next thing to go live, once all the Seekers have returned. We will announce more information regarding the launch of the Incentivised Sylo Network closer to the final beacon reveal.
Q — Will we be able to make our own Factions, Clans or Guilds as soon as Seekers return home?
A — Soon, but not just yet. We will be releasing more information and Lore about the Factions very soon :)\
