First Round of Tezos Athens Completed

The first round or “proposal period” of the inaugural on-chain Tezos vote has concluded, with Athens A winning the majority.

For context, Athens A proposed a reduction in roll size and increase in gas limit, while Athens B only proposed an increase in gas limit.

The vote amassed nearly 26,000 community votes between both proposals, with Athens A receiving a total of 18,181 votes.

The second round or “exploration vote period” of Athens is now underway. During this period, delegates can cast one vote to test the winning proposal using the ballet operation.

If participation reaches the quorum and the proposal has super-majority in favor at the end of this period, the voting process with advance to the next period.

Keep up with Athens here.

First Cosmos Governance Proposal

The first Cosmos governance proposal is live. The proposal seeks an adjustment of the blocks per year parameter to normalize the inflation rate and reward rate.

The proposed adjustment would be executed once transfers are enabled.

All-Time Largest Uniswap Trade

Uniswap recently saw its largest trade in the five months of its existence. The trade was routed to Uniswap by another interface and resulted in 25% slippage.

Slippage is determined by the value of the trade and size of the pool, as selling $100,000 into a $40,000 pool yielded 25% slippage.
