I Recent work about ecological construction
1. The Seele team has been announced the investigation result and follow-ups of the fraud.
In order to investigate and communicate with the victims, an emergency response team has been formed. After investigation, a conclusion has been published that scammers used the photo and name of Dr. Nicholas Smith to register a telegram account which deceived the on-duty administrator and gain the rights of the administrators. Afterwards, scammers pretended to be the administrator of the Seele telegram group and committed fraud in the name of Dr. Nicholas Smith, cheated those investors who did not pay attention to official announcements of the Seele team.
The Seele team issued the clarification video and fraud warning announcement at the very first moment, and conducted the registration and audit of the victims. The team will invite worldwide lawyers, technicians, experts and law enforcement institutions to implement investigations. Also, the team join hands with blockchain community to monitor the scammers’ ETH wallet address, strive the best to retrieve the stolen funds.
In order to reduce the impact on investors as well as provide possible priorities conditions for victims, the Seele team has decided to postpone the registration of the whitelist, and compensations reserved for the community supporters for any inconvenience caused by this issue.
2. The Seele team strengthens the operational security.
The Seele team reinforced a number of rules to administrators after the scam and restricted the administrators’ privileges by using a double authentication method, also clarifying the principals for security responsibilities. At the same time, the Seele team has published the anti-fraud guidelines and will keep focus on dubious activities.
3. Enforce the relationship with the investors
The Seele team pay lots of resources in order to provide 24-hours online response to technical issues, doubts and challenges from the industry, academia and etc. Meanwhile, the Seele team has been updated the FAQ and provided the AMA service on Reddit.com.
