Invitations were getting ready to be sent to every nook and corner of the country, starting from The President of India, The Vice President of India, The Prime Minister of India, Chiefs of Tri-Services and to many other soldiers.
Anantapur, a district in Andhra Pradesh was geared up for a once in a lifetime MahaYagas for nine days.
It was late in the afternoon on 16th June 2020, when I came back to Bengaluru, and the news started coming in about a skirmish from Galwan valley with India facing 3 casualties.
By night it rose to 20, this by no means was a skirmish but a deadly attack. This reminded me of his words seven months ago,
Times ahead are going to be tough for our soldiers, we should be prepared…
For the last couple of years, Sri Appa Swamy Ji, founder of Sri Mahalakshmi Sree Peetam, Anantapur were determined towards the protection of our Mother Land.
In 2018, Sri Guru and his 15 disciples visited Wagah Border and other border areas in Jammu and Kashmir, to bless the forces for greater strength and prosperity. They visited these border areas during Sri Chandi Saptasati Yatra with an oath of Desh Ki Raksha, Desh Ki Subhiksha (Nation Protection and Prosperity).
In November 2019, The MahaYagas; AthiRudra and Saharsa Chandi were conducted by 175 pandits, along with a plethora of other yagas such as Sri Lakshmi Ganapati Aayuta Yaga, Sri Ganesa Chaturavrutthi Tarpana, Sri Maha Mrityunjaya Purascarana Homa’s of 1 lakh, Sri Pratyangira, Sri Bagalamukhi Japa Yagas etc.
From President of India to the Chiefs of Tri-Services conveyed their gratitude for this selfless act by Sri Guru.

Within less than a year, the situation at the borders has become tense. Our forces face the rogue Chinese army to the east and the proxy war waged by Pakistan in the west. Time since ever this nation has faced invasions but she withstood the atrocities, for she believes in Vasudaiva Kutumbakam, World is one family.
Don’t take her patience as a weakness for the gods from heaven, time and again come down to protect it. This time too the great sages are prepared to stand shoulder to shoulder with her mighty forces.
Only a fool would want to challenge them.
