The preparation for Fabula for Kids’ Kickstarter campaign is in full swing. Here’s an animated gif that shows Matteo Ufo5 Capobianco’s work. He’s the artist who illustrated the cards and each and everyone was created like this 😍

🐐🐐🐐 What we’ve been up to this week

Matteo worked till the break of dawn on Fabula for Kids’ communication. The advertiser that still lives in him wouldn’t give him a break throughout the entire weekend, but at least he’s happy with the results. If you want, here’s a sneak peak >> https://fabuladeck.com/for-kids 😉

We are now in 32 independent libraries across Italy 🎉🎉🎉 and it’s only the beginning! We’ll keep you posted with updates on that.

We hopped on a call to discuss the structure for “Fabula for editing” and the expert with whom we’re collaborating told us that we are on the right track (yay!) — today Matteo will try to contact the writers who so kindly said they’d be willing to be interviewed; if you are part of this group, you should expect a call 📞

And just because we didn’t have enough on our plate, we started a proofreading class. It’s pretty intense but we like it a lot for now. Let us know if you feel like the bulletins are getting more and more proper in the next few weeks 😅

🦊🦊🦊 What we would like to do

We would like to invest in a creative residence. A place where we would host artists and writers where they can find the peace they need to create. We were told about it in the class we are taking: there are these places around Europe still but in Italy there’s basically nothing. It would be a dream come true 😊

🎃🎃🎃 What we’ve learned

Matteo got an office space at Copernico in Torino since he was destroying his back on his house’s chairs and working from home because of the lockdown, was turning him into Jack Torrance from Shining 😂

At the beginning he didn’t like the office per se: a grey room with grey desks and grey closets (😱) bright white lights on the ceiling (just the way they are supposed to be, but so sad!)

But then, just after half a day in there, he fell in love…

🌈 Takeaway: if everybody does it, sometimes there’s a good reason behind it
Desks set at the right height, ugly but comfortable chairs, lights that don’t tire the eyes…and printers and coffee machines!

Matteo calls Andrea everyday now and he goes on and on about how wonderful the office is and Andrea is sad that there’s no Copernico coworking space in Alessandria 😅

Let’s say it: if most people invest in an office to work, they’re not all dumb, there might be a good reason for it. And riding the wave of this realisation (and since we are already overwhelmed after only 2 weeks into 2021) we have started to dream also about a personal assistant 😂

With ❤️
Matteo and Andrea
