Yesterday we launched Fabula for Kids on Kickstarter 🎉
We reached our goal in 47 minutes. And it keeps ongoing up! We are already funded for 217% 😍
Thank you so much for your support 🙏

🐐🐐🐐 What we’ve been up to this week

We lost our sanity for the campaign launch (there was no way around that! 😂). In the last few days we woke up at 5am bursting with excitement and, if you saw our faces during the Instagram live you can understand what I’m talking about!

🦊🦊🦊 What we would like to do

A webinar on Zoom to tell you how to prepare for a successful Kickstarter campaign (and maybe also on Clubhouse so Carla, who’s reading us now, will be happy 😅). This is the first time that we launch a campaign having prepared it beforehand and we learned so much! It is in fact possible to come up with a process to follow (and we’re good at coming up with stuff 😉).

🎃🎃🎃 What we’ve learned

In the past few years we have used Kickstarter for a few projects, but we never really had a team helping us out. When Matteo launched Intùiti on the platform, he was alone in Amsterdam; for Fabula and Cicero it was just the two of us keeping our fingers crossed 😂

🌈 Takeaway: the team makes all the difference
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone: Matteo, the artist, whose work is simply magical; Umberto, our legendary Marketing Manager (and Tine who helps him — and maybe is the true mastermind behind all of it, we’ll always wonder 😘); Michael who created this amazing video (if you need a stop motion, we’ll share his contact!); Filippo for the music; Alizé for lending her voice; Marco for post-production; Valentina on social media; Luca and Angelo, our super developers; Federico, our Google Specialist; and Stefano, Rossana and Francesca who handle Customer Care and Management gifting us with what we would otherwise lack (time!). And last but not least all of you who’ve been reading our words for months and support us so much, ’cause let’s be honest: without readers, would there even be the book?

🤟Your takeaway

We picked two:

«So much noise surrounds us and so many precious signs have drowned in it. If we learn how to separate the signs from the noise, we can make incredible leaps ahead» (Davide)

«It’s not easy being always inspired, creative and also productive. I try to be inspired, to get excited by watching a jaw-dropping illustration, reading a book or a comic, watching a movie or a series, listening to music (I’ve clinged on “Blurry” by Puddle of Mudd, for months, which ended up becoming the soundtrack for my project).

And also watching the mountains from the windows while holding a cup of coffee in my hands» (Stefano)

With ❤️
Matteo and Andrea
