An App with a Mission or Behind the Scenes of MsFit

August 14, 2017 — MsFit, a Saudi Arabia based start-up unveils a fitness app that‘s different from most available on the market.

The app was released on the Apple AppStore and as of today counts over 15K downloads.

In December 2016, we started working on a fitness app that was targeting women who live in GCC.

Given the traditions of Arab countries, women are allowed to attend female only gyms or workout at home. The majority of free fitness apps on the market offer general tips and plans based on user’s goals. However, it is well known that exercises and nutrition plans should be tailored individually. That is why Ms Fit has one special feature that most apps don’t have.

With Ms Fit a woman can hire a female fitness coach who will create a custom nutrition and exercise plan, as well as give advice and monitor progress. It is your personal trainer at a reach of a hand.

During nine months we were creating, coding, testing and fixing. We spent that time designing and building not just one but two apps for iOS and a web-based CRM. All together they provide communication between the client and her trainer, as well as give the trainer their work space.

Eventually, together with our client we created a meaningful solution for women of GCC countries, and also built a tool that allows fitness trainers grow their customer base at a lower cost. No need to buy new sports equipment or find a bigger place for a gym.
