  • Is strengthening relationships with significant others, kids, parents and other family members. Daily familial interactions also greatly affects people’s health.
  • By strengthening the relationships with close family members you can become able to rely on others not just yourself. When one goes through hard times, the expectation is to be able to fall on someone else for more support. Sometimes the support from others is hard to find however by growing relationships with people you can create a bond where the strength can clear the stress of problems.
  • When we are too busy trying to solve our problems on our own we tend to overcompensate the stress that comes with all problems. Relational self care helps people understand the importance of having someone other than yourself to be able to express your feelings. If we keep our feelings bottled up inside us then depression can come from ‘over stressing’ and that is definitely not an aspect of life that helps with a long term relationships or lifetime.
