Baidu Apollo

Last week I went with several of my Udacity colleagues to Baidu’s Sunnyvale, California, office to attend a Meetup they held for their Apollo open-source self-driving car platform.

Baidu, which is often referred to as “the Google of China”, is pouring a ton of money and attention into Apollo, and hopes it will become the platform on which other developers build their autonomous vehicle projects. Keep an eye on it.
