We go through life, grabbing ideas here and there,
letting our experiences shape and mold us,
holding separate values and principles.
We raise our voices at the mention of something ‘wrong’,
we grit our teeth in anger to opposing ideas,
Society has made it a habit of punishing the ‘strange ones’,
then she lets those of high authority hold the microphones.
We let the highly learned open their mouths,
hoping to grab something new, The Truth.

Now, raise your voice all you want,
open your eyes in menace.
grit your teeth in annoyance.
Gather a crowd, condemn a soul.
Yes be high and mighty,
with well-established principles and ideas;
be learned, oh be wise!
But The truth, which couldn’t be completely true is;

Be it sinner, be it saint;
Be it friend, be it foe;
Be high or not so high;
Be it the wise or the not so wise?
We sometimes are wrong, glaringly wrong;
for we might have missed a detail,
good ideas hold in different contexts.

Let our every idea be flexible and feasible.
Let us listen, yes and hear.
Even to the not so right ideas.
