The socialized sociopath is a master manipulator of charm and persuasion. Many people are surprised to learn that sociopaths often present as likable, easygoing, fun-loving people with extroverted personalities.

Sociopaths have an uncanny ability to remain relaxed and calm during interactions with strangers. Sociopaths are able to quickly get targets to let their guard down and trust them due to their outgoing personality, in conjunction with their relaxed body language.

In contrast, targets of sociopathic abuse often present as introverted, shy, or quiet.
