Welcome to the January writing prompts for the “Writing Magic” challenge of 2025.

Rules of the challenge are outlined in a previous post; the link is at the end.

Writing Prompts:

1. Reflective Prompt: Write about the moment you realized you wanted to write. How did it feel, and what sparked that desire?
2. Craft Improvement Prompt: Rewrite one of your older pieces in 200 words or less. What improvements did you make, and why?
3. Creative Writing Prompt: Start a story with the line: "The email arrived at midnight, offering me a choice that would change everything."
