Rediscovering My Creativity

Rediscovering My Creativity

In the past few months, I’ve seen a lot of wonderful people openly sharing their thoughts about the world, about life, and about what moves…them. In small statuses and larger posts, these people have slowly been making the internet, (which up until recently, I have mostly associated with negativity, hysteria, and fiction), a more honest and interesting place. A lot of these people have inspired me to make small changes in my life — changes that I was already looking to make but didn’t have the energy or motivation to tackle. ¶ One of these things that I wanted to change was my lack of creative production.

An Unsolicited Commencement Address for Rejects

An Unsolicited Commencement Address for Rejects

This is what no one tells you.By the time you are thirty (and a bit) years old, and lines begin to creep around your eyes, and your butt is getting a little bit fat, you will have wasted a chunk of your twenties groping; around on the floor under bar stools looking for keys, bodies, jobs, apartments, lives you try on like disposable clothes until something fits. And then something does. You will write things. You will film these things.

Always Be Learning

Always Be Learning

I just wanted to say the following: always be learning.Even when you feel like you’re not “getting anything done”. ¶ Even when you feel like you’ll never really get what you’re trying to learn. Especially when you feel like that. ¶ Even when you feel like so many people know more than you. Even more so when you hear someone else express that sentiment. ¶ Even when it would be easier to just coast on through the day. Especially then. ¶ Even when you think you know enough.

The real power of property investment

The real power of property investment

Infinite returns. There are only 2 asset classes that give them — business and property.Getting rich is actually really simple. Who am I to talk about it? Nobody really, but I live a pretty comfortable life in a nice house with my family with lots of toys (bikes, cars, tech etc.), lots of free time, lots of travel, 3 full-time domestic helpers and I can pretty much come and go as I please (oh, and my wife works her tail off running the house, looking after the kids and flying gyrocopters, and she’s not one of the domestic helpers ;-), they’re there to help her and to keep me sane…
