Those who’ve been using AMI for a while now may describe it as a follow-up or clienteling app. They’re not wrong! Building customer relationships has always been at our core. But, we know that’s one slice of the social selling pie.

Over the last year, it’s become even more important to find effective ways to share and sell without in-person interaction. In 2020, Web-based shopping grew by 44% in the US alone, and brands (from big corporations to individuals), are jumping on the rise in online retail.

That’s why our latest updates are focused on helping you create, curate, and facilitate your very own branded online shopping experience.

New ways for your brand to shine on Social Shop

When we first launched Social Shop in 2016, our goal was to make it easy for your followers to purchase and learn more about your brand via Instagram’s link in bio. But social selling has expanded to places like text messages, Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube — and the list keeps growing!

We want all of our sellers to be able to provide a single place for followers to learn more about their brand and products. That’s why we’ve expanded Social Shop to include:

  • Product collections to curate of your top picks and showcase your style
  • A Links page to share more ways customers can connect with you
  • Visual updates for a professional experience that let your products and photos shine

Product Collections

Collections were inspired by our savvy sellers who creatively used AMI Wishlists to curate recommendations for different occasions and customers. Maybe you want to share product recs for Easter or Mother’s Day or items that you think teachers would love. Collections make it easy to share your own curated group of products to multiple customers effortlessly. You can highlight specific Collections on your Social Shop or choose to share them privately with select customers.

Links

We hear our sellers loud and clear: managing multiple business apps can be overwhelming and expensive. To help streamline the experience for you, we wanted Social Shop to be a single destination for all of your brand’s presences. That’s why we’ve added the ability to add any link to Social Shop. Links may include a Facebook Business Page, blog, YouTube Channel, or any platform you’re on to promote your brand.

Visual Updates

Lastly, we updated the look-and-feel of the AMI Social Shop, bringing product images front and center and allowing you to upload your own Collection Header photos. Customers will love the beautiful curated shopping experience and seeing your personal style in action!
