What is SELO+?
SELO+ is the web3.0 ecosystem of a hyperlocal secondhand community project, SellOn. The idea is to apply the remuneration system of Web 3.0 onto SellOn, a Web 2.0 based community service. With the start of SELO+ Reward System(Web 3.0), users are rewarded with SELO+ digital assets for its active participation — encouraging existing users to engage more and welcoming new users to build a new community ecosystem.
There are three components of digital assets in SELO+ ecosystem: SPT token, SELO token and utility NFT.
SPT is a reward token that will be given or used for any activities in SellOn app.
SELO is a governance token that will be used to build SELO+ ecosystem together.
Utility NFT will allow users to access certain benefits or actions across SELO+ platforms.
We believe the group of active local residents can push the boundaries of local experience. With these three assets along with other components, SELO+ is aiming to build up a new community ecosystem where each user is motivated to take part in ones neighborhood.
How was SELO+ born in the first place?
At SELO+, we spend a lot of time thinking how to build a better platform to strengthen neighborhoods and to engage residents to involve into their local communities. Building an interactive community requires various inputs from its members. Therefore, we thought there is no better way to invite our SELO+ users to building a platform together than decentralizing the system and share the value.
