Everybody thinks that the team with the biggest spending budget will probably win their division. Although they have a bigger chance of getting the better players it is not always the case for them to always win. There are some teams that pick up a player that not everybody thinks is good but when they start playing they fit in good with the new team.

Although this graph shows that money still does buy wins there is that small percentage of the teams with not as much money that outsmart the other teams and get a college prospect that nobody suspects to be good. For example, Javier Baez, Fransisco Lindor, and Alex Bregman. These are all players who salary was under 1 million dollars.

Baseball salaries are increasingly rising year by year. Some people think that money is just getting wasted by giving these players so much money. First, I don’t think the money is getting wasted because these players have grinded their whole life and dreamed of this since they have been little. One reason why some teams pay players so much is because if they don’t start winning coaches or general managers could get fired.

The smaller salary teams have to really be smart about everything that they do because they don’t have the extra money to fix their mistakes that they make. That is why usually the lower salary teams coaches get fired more often than the bigger salary teams. For example, an NFL football team, the patriots have had Bill Belichick as their coach for as long as I can remember.
