Baseball players aren’t like football players. Football players are 300 pounds straight muscle. Baseball players are quick on their feet and don’t have to have a lot of muscle. They still have to have to body mass but not near as much as football players. They use leverage and different strategies to be able to field and hit the ball. Outfielders are usually tall, skinny and fast. They are also the ones that can throw the ball hard and far. That is why many pitchers also play outfield because they have a cannon for an arm. Infielders are more of the smaller quick on their feet guys that are super athletic and can adjust quickly. They always have to be quick especially when they try to turn double plays. Just think when infielders get bad hops all the time but they always make it look smooth.

Two different types of athletes that are different builds are Jose Altuve and Aaron Judge. Altuve is a short infielder that is super quick. He still hits good and every once in a while he hits a home run. Altuve is a great example of someone that uses leverage to his advantage. Aaron Judge is someone that is genetically blest with his height. Judge is also very strong so he doesn’t have to use as much leverage as Jose does. But, when Aaron does use his leverage that is when he hits the ball out of the park, five hundred feet.
