Once upon a time, there was a baseball player named Aroldis Chapman that threw a 106 Mph fastball in a major league game. This was the hardest pitch that was recorded in baseball and means that the hitter only has less than half of a second to decide if they are going to swing or not. Can you imagine trying to hit that and how hard it would be?On defense you also have to field balls that go 100 Mph off he bat and 200 ft in the air, which also is not easy considering the wind and other weather conditions. After considering all of this, a baseball is 9.25 inches in circumference and weighs about 5 ounces.

A lot of people want to say football or rugby is the hardest sport just because they have the most contact than any other sport. But what they don’t know is that a football player only has to be strong and quick to play. In baseball a player has to be strong, quick, smart, and have strategy and technique. The reason they have to be strong is because their bats are around 35 inches long 33 oz but, it really depends on the player and what they are comfortable with. They also have to be able to adjust to the pitch that is pitched to them. Obviously, players have to be quick and smart for the base running aspect of the game. They have to know what to do on the bases and stuff like that.
