A little about me.

My name is Laura. I am originally from Florida, but I have lived the past 10 years in NYC which I now consider my home. I studied Industrial Design at Parsons and have been working as a freelance industrial designer. I am interested in healthcare and how design can improve our knowledge, connection, and understanding of health. While at CMU, I hope to use my background in designing products and integrate it into what I learn, looking at how the physical and digital help dictate each other. Some fun facts about me are that I run marathons and have a dog named Frasier.

Here he is hiding from the other dogs at the dog park. He hates it there.
