Congratulations to Joseph, Our Partner of the Month

Our Riders work hard everyday to deliver an exceptional experience to Sendy Users. Being a Sendy Rider is not easy, which is why we are giving a special shout out to a Rider who has gone above and beyond this month.

Joseph is much more than a Sendy Rider. Here are a few other things he does for fun.

DJs

“I started DJ classes with the help of my cousin, and most of my contracts come from churches, schools and people who held different conferences around my old house.”

Fixes computers

“I Studied IT for two and a half years, then moved to Uganda to take more classes because of my love for computers and the urge to expand my IT knowledge.”

Teaches basic computer skills

“I get connections to teach at schools that are looking for teachers who know computer packages like Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. I do this mostly over the weekend. It’s my number one part time job.”

Owns an M-Pesa shop

“I opened an M-Pesa shop after I became a Sendy Driver, and I use that money to take my cousin to Secondary School. Because of Sendy and this shop, I can afford to pay his school fees.”

Learns and experiments

“During my days off, I am always looking for ways to expand my knowledge on computers. I am interested in both hardware and software. My wife is always complaining about how much time I spend on computers at home!”
