I worked on making the homepage illustrations seamless from page to page. This required some tedious adjustments and new forms. The “blog” page is now a place for users to share/read stories and ask questions. I think this page is what will bring users back to the site.
Overall my presentation went really well! Some feedback included:
- “Flourish” page needs work
- softer edges on some of the shapes (color)
- white type gets hard to read on lighter colors (esp. light blue)
- more curves that flow against each other instead of together
- lots of type…can more icons/image/illustration come in to play (will they want to read all of that info) ?
