You need to make a lot of money to have the finer things in life. Having a high salary income is a great thing, but managing your money is flawless. You have to be smart with your money. You have to think long-term. I always say if you are going to spend money, spend money on experiences that will have lasting memories.

Why buy a pair of Jordans, if you don’t have a car? Why, when ordering doordash you spend on delivery fees when you can drive 2 miles and pick up the food? Why shop at Bloomingdales when you can shop at Macy's? Why shop at Macy’s when you can order clothes from Shein? Why spend money on a gym membership and waste money on gas where you can work out for free at home? Why date a drug dealer where the drug dealer’s fast money could go to lawyer fees during incarceration or in the hands of another drug dealer during a robbery when you can date a doctor or lawyer that will save their money long-term will being in the arms of safety?

Below is a poem I wrote about how saving money is more important than making a lot of money:

Money is something we all want and some more than others.

Money can turn friends into lovers.
