Apple is no stranger to making waves at CES without a presence on the floor. This year’s sky-high advertisement made a statement, echoing to the team at Sense Chat. Plastered across the side of a Las Vegas Marriott, Apple took a spin on Vegas’ classic slogan, “What happens on your iPhone, stays on your iPhone.”
At Sense Chat, we recognize Apple’s sentiment, and we are in complete alignment. Sense Chat is one of the first companies building tools that specifically leverage this promise of privacy. Apple’s message comes in response to the privacy issues surfacing on the world’s favorite search engines, social networks and platforms. While digital assistants and smart devices have made life more convenient, the cost is personal privacy. Plus, there are those many creepy occasions where Alexa has gone rogue.
Your data is valuable to companies, why wouldn’t it be precious to you? Your chats on your phone should be like a face to face conversation. Uncle Zuck shouldn’t be between you and the person you’re chatting with, especially for the purpose of sending you ads.
