Being Polyamorous and Pansexual Isn’t My Excuse to Be Slutty
Take your puritanical beliefs somewhere else.
I’m slutty because I’m slutty.
I can be that way with one partner, I don’t need multiples. Now that we have that out of the way, hi I’m Demeter and I am polyamorous and pansexual. Currently, I am married to a pansexual man, and have two partners who are also pansexual and married to one another, and another pansexual partner who identifies as they/them. At the moment I’m only having sex with my partners who are married to one another, as my husband is incarcerated and my other partner and I haven’t seen one another in person in many years.
In the last few years I’ve been a lot more open about my relationship status and my sexuality. Part of that stemmed from working for myself and no longer being afraid of being outed at work and potentially losing my job. Couple that with the fact that my job was literally about sex.
Many years ago, a former girlfriend outed me at my job, where my boss was an ultra conservative Christian. Thankfully, my boss never found out, but I walked around on pins and needles for years after, wondering if he would. One co-worker knew and she changed the way she interacted with me from that day forward.
