Fingertips

A tanka trilogy on sensual touch

Rapturous moments
lost in passion’s lustful wish.
On velvet skin, smooth
his fingertips skim and dance
their sinuous waltz of want.

Pressure soft yet firm,
fingertips imprint their yen
to make sweet contact
and leave their indentations
of the pillow of her flesh.

Her ardour rising,
she throws her head back and sighs,
submitting herself
to the embrace of Eros,
such heavenly ecstasy.
