Guys, Women Are Allowed to Consume Smut Without Your Permission
It’s 2025, women shouldn’t be hiding what they enjoy
I know porn isn’t for everyone and let’s face it, there are many folks out there who have an issue with it. As in, they probably consume way too much of it. But let’s assume we aren’t talking about someone who is addicted to porn. We’re referring to someone who has a healthy relationship with their sexuality and something that enhances it. Is there anything wrong with that?
I would say no, not at all.
Does gender matter in this equation? No, I don’t think it does, nor do I think your relationship status does either. If you’re in a relationship, sure, you probably shouldn’t consume pornographic material in place of intimacy with your partner, but baring that, what you do on your personal time is, quite frankly, your business. I’m not in the habit of thinking partners have to tell their significant others every single thing they do.
I say all this to say, it’s a huge red flag to me when a partner tries to dictate to their partner whether it is or isn’t okay to consume porn. No, I don’t mean they’re saying hey, you shouldn’t watch porn that’s illegal or immoral. I mean something that’s perfectly acceptable, simply because it makes them feel…well, who knows? Inadequate? Jealous?
