Long Distance
From my Old Poems collection
Songs of love I’ll sing to you
In the afterglow of candles
And all the things we never share
Will be forgotten
Time will never wait for us
The golden wheels keep turning
But all the time that we have lost
Can be erased with just one kiss
Memories of moments spent alone
Are like flowers pressed in a book
And each smile holds something precious and warm
The last star in the sky at dawn
So treasure every little thing
I’ll see you when I can
And all the things we cannot share
Will be forgotten
