Learning About Tantra While On Vacation at Desire
I’ve always been a little bit curious about tantra but also a little bit intimidated at the thought of being naked in a room full of other naked people who are all touching each other in sensual ways. But as with most things, context is everything, as is perspective, and under the right circumstances, all kinds of things are possible. My husband James and I were recently on vacation in Cancun and had the opportunity to spend the day at Desire, an all-inclusive couples only resort which describes itself in this way, “Our clothing-optional concept offers intimate, exclusive spaces to meet new couples, and participate in the inexhaustible game of seduction.”
We decided to jump in with both feet and spent the bulk of the day naked, in the pool, chatting with friendly people over a couple of drinks. For part of the afternoon we listened to a very good band fronted by a man from Germany who did some great covers and then also sang a funny original song that went something like, “I want you, you want me, this dick is made in Germany,” which gave us a good laugh.
James and I also participated in a game along the lines of the Newlywed game where we were asked questions and then had to answer them together on the count of three to see how many answers we got the same. We were deemed somewhere between adorable and…
