We are honoured to participate at the next Brussels Amazon Academy at the Square of Brussels on May 16, 2017. This years’ Academy will have a strong scientific focus on “Europe’s next generation of innovation: How to enable individual scientists and researchers.”

Keynote speaker, Ralf Herbrich, Amazon’s Director of Machine Learning Science, will give the keynote speech on how Europe can lead innovation in sectors like the Internet of Things and Machine Learning.

Sentinel Hub, a path-breaking application which facilitates access to EO data, exploiting advance cloud technology and innovative methods to efficiently process and distribute data in a matter of seconds, will be presented by Grega Milčinski — CEO of Sinergise.

While Sentinel Hub eliminates the major hassle of downloading, archiving and processing petabytes of data, scientists and app developers can focus on value-adding services and end-user applications. This innovative approach already has a great impact on the daily work routines of innovators, developers, scientists and many others, since Sentinel Hub’s flexible solution can be used for any GIS and web application.

Other confirmed participant is Pierre-Philippe Mathieu — Earth Observation leader with the European Space Agency. More details on additional speakers and the full agenda will be published soon.
