We are pleased to share that EO Browser is going free! After optimising our processing tools we can now afford to provide individual downloads free of charge for non-commercial use.

Discover a variety of new features based on our users’ feedback.

New datasets added

Browse through the interesting scenes provided by Synthetic-Aperture Radar (SAR) on board of the Sentinel-1 and Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS), operating on the Terra and Aqua satellites.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Sentinel-2 L1C, True color, acquired in EO Browser on October 1, 2017)

New effects

Many of our users expressed an interest to be able to tweak the images and make them nicer before download. Therefore, you can now set different parameters such as atmospheric correction, contrast (gain) and luminance (gamma), which were already introduced in Sentinel Playground.

Gosaba River, the Bay of Bengal (Sentinel-2 L1C, True color, acquired in EO Browser on June 4, 2017)

Define your AOI

Before downloading, you can now define area of interest (AOI), even irregular one. Data will be clipped accordingly.

Province of Modena, Italy (Sentinel-2 L2A, NDVI, acquired in EO Browser on September 21, 2017)

Export images in different formats

In addition to GeoTiff, it is now possible to export to JP2 and KMZ. Low-scale exports are possible as well if one wants to download GeoTiff of the whole Europe for example.

Nassau, The Bahamas (Sentinel-2 L1C, acquired in EO Browser on August 11, 2017)

Free access to all these new features is just a few clicks away. Apply for your personal free account here.
