Over the past few weeks we have been developing EO Browser, an application based on Sentinel Hub. It combines a complete archive of Sentinel-2, ESA’s archive of Landsat 5, 7, 8, and Proba-V products in one place, easily accessible for you to be browsed or analysed. To make it even more interesting, Sentinel-3 and Envisat data will be integrated soon as well.

Comparison of Data

EO Browser makes it possible to browse and compare full resolution images from the sources mentioned above. You simply go to your area of interest, select criteria such as time range and cloud coverage, and inspect the resulting data from different sources. The process behind your request hides a query for relevant scenes and their bands, decompression of relevant parts, and creates a mosaic.

Compare full resolution archive data of Sentinel-2, ESA’s Landsat 5, 7, 8 and Proba-V products.

The visual comparison tool makes it possible to observe changes in the land from 1984 onward.

Different Visualisation

The image can be prepared in a desired configuration. There are already several visualizations available such as true color, false color, NDVI, EVI, etc. With a combination of WMS Configurator, you can also create your own combination of bands, and configure your own visualization possibilities.

Prepare an image in desired configuration (true, false, NDVI, EVI, any other pre-defined set or any user-set configuration).

If you need these data in your own platform, you can either export them as GeoTiff or include them using web services.

We developed EO Browser in close cooperation with European Space Agency (ESA), and will be presented at ESA’s Flex conference in Frascati, Italy in the following days. You are warmly welcome to visit us there, and learn more about the possibilities EO Browser is offering in Earth Observation.
