Doge Sound Club partners with Uppsala Security to enhance Web3 Security

Singapore, January 12th 2023 — Doge Sound Club, the first South Korean NFT project, and Uppsala Security, a company specializing in blockchain and virtual asset regulation technology (Reg-tech), announced the signing of a partnership on the 10th of January with the goal of improving Web3 security.

The two companies announced that through this partnership, they joined forces to increase the outreach of the ChainKeeper service and raise awareness around digital asset security in the Web3 ecosystem.

ChainKeeper is a security service backed by Uppsala Security that can identify the authenticity and risk of threat data in the Web3 environment with just one search based on more than 75 Million threat indicators. The platform was first launched in the second half of December 2022.

An official from Doge Sound Club addressed the background of the partnership by saying, “In a situation where Web3 is expected to grow by absorbing existing industries beyond blockchain in the future, it is our responsibility to prepare security for it in advance. Assets are stored in conjunction with wallets, but there still needs to be more awareness or education among users on how to store and transact digital assets safely. Incidents related to malicious activity continue, so it is necessary to reconsider public awareness”.

After introducing the Mates series, which is the first South Korean PFP (Pictures For Profile) project, Doge Sound Club continues to cooperate with domestic ventures including LG Household & Health Care.
