Singapore, April 15th 2021 — We are happy to share that Uppsala Security’s Chief Technology Officer, Nobel Tan, will be participating as a presenter during an online event sponsored by the Silicon Valley Chapter of ISSA (Information Systems Security Association) on April 20th, 2021 between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM PDT.

The session entitled “The Collision of Crypto Assets and Security on You and Me” will primarily outline the current threats, challenges and opportunities in the decentralized space and aims to answer questions related to the evolution of these threats within nations, corporations and even at an individual level, as we continue to witness a boost in the adoption of digital assets.

As part of the team headquartered in Singapore and leading the technology development, research and innovation at Uppsala Security, Nobel Tan is a veteran in the cybersecurity space. He has extensive experience in Information Security and IT risk strategy converged in the cybersecurity sector, and a great part of this experience was also accumulated while previously leading a team of technical engineers at FireEye Inc. and working towards turning concepts into reality and prototypes in adoption ready solutions.
