South Korea, 17 December 2018 — Sentinel Protocol today announces the support of the global media content creator, KBS Media (a subsidiary of Korean Broadcasting System, a national public broadcaster of South Korea), in the successful launch of the pilot program, One Live.

One Live, which will be aired through one of the most popular live broadcast platforms in Korea, Kakao TV, is a quiz show that will send rewards to the winner using cryptocurrencies for the first time in the market. According to a survey conducted by the media house, Yonhap, South Koreans in their 20s are the most active in cryptocurrency investing. This program is tasked to raise awareness among local users about cybersecurity for crypto payments and digital assets.

Sentinel Protocol will leverage its blockchain based security solution, Interactive Cooperative Framework (ICF) API to secure cryptocurrency payments when rewards get wired to the winner’s digital wallet to prove that transactions with cryptocurrencies can be protected by a proper security solution.

In recent months, there have been many prominent scams and hacking incidents across Asia such as the Pure Bit exit scam and the Zaif crypto exchange hack. Sentinel Protocol leads the crypto security industry by arming exchanges, wallet services, and crypto users with solutions such as the ICF API and the UPPward Chrome and Firefox extensions to proactively protect crypto assets from malicious threats.
