Singapore, 12th November 2021 — Uppsala Security, a state-of-the-art provider of award-winning security tools and services for Crypto AML/CTF, Transaction Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance and Cyber Security announced today that it will join this year’s DAXPO 2021 (Digital Asset Expo 2021), a South Korean based event organized by CoinDesk Korea, Busan Economy and the Busan Metropolitan City.

This is not the first time that Uppsala Security has participated in DAXPO, as the project also had an active role in the event during 2019 and 2020.

This year DAXPO will take place on November 15th and November 16th, 2021, and it will be an exclusively offline event, i.e. with in-person participants only, taking place at the Paradise Hotel Busan in Busan, South Korea. It will be hosted by CoinDesk Korea together with Busan Economy, and the main sponsor will be the Busan Metropolitan City.

Last year the digital assets space was impacted not only by positive gains in the market, but by innovations that led to a significantly higher level of technology development, more so than other recent years.. This translates not only to higher transaction rates but also to enhanced scalable solutions that up until now lacked the same level of trust. That and many other positive developments and solutions realized during the last year and will be discussed at DAXPO and proposed for the next year’s event.

The DAXPO conference will be attended by South Korea’s regulators along with leading representatives of leading enterprises and other entities who will discuss and debate the future of virtual assets and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

The agenda will include:

1. The new regulatory environment along with opportunities and challenges in the digital asset industry

2. The prevention of digital asset crime and protection of investors

3. The global political economics of digital assets

4. Non-Fungible Token (NFTs) and Metaverse

Patrick Kim, Founder & CEO of Uppsala Security, will participate in this year’s DAXPO 2021(Digital Asset Expo 2021) and will speak at a session focused on “Virtual Asset Tracking Cases”. He will discuss important issues and problems observed in today’s blockchain, virtual asset market and will share proposed solutions as well as various insights.

I am very happy and honored to be present again at DAXPO 2021 in Busan. Having had the experience of joining the event for the last two years, not only as an attendee but also as a speaker or panelist, it is incredible how fast time moves in the blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem and how much products like the ones offered by Uppsala Security are needed in today’s online and digital space. Every new edition of DAXPO brings new revolutionary and innovative topics. Previously we discussed ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings) and DeFi (Decentralized Finance), and now we are focused on understanding the creation and handling of Non-Fungible Tokens(NFTs) and Cross-chain solutions. One common aspect that always maintains its importance is regulatory compliance and cybersecurity, and I am happy and excited to be able to, once again, speak about this in front of an amazing audience gathered at DAXPO in Busan during 2021, especially considering that this is my home city.” said Patrick Kim, CEO & Founder of Uppsala Security.
