Singapore, October 3rd 2022Uppsala Security, a state-of-the-art provider of award-winning security tools and services for Crypto AML/CTF, Transaction Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Transaction Tracking, and Cyber Security recently announced its participation at Underground Economy Conference 2022 that took place between the 5th — 8th of September 2022 and was organized by Team Cymru and Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France. This is the second time Uppsala Security has participated in an event organized by Team Cymru, the first one taking place in May 2022 in Bali, Indonesia.

Athul Harilal — Cyber Security Threat Researcher and Reece Soukoroff — Threat Intelligence Research Analyst at Uppsala Security were among the expert speakers during the event. The session was attended by top cybersecurity experts and regulators, with Athul’s and Reece’s presentation focused on Uppsala Security’s key data analysis tools and their capabilities such as the Crypto Analysis Transaction Visualization (CATV), Crypto Analysis Risk Assessment (CARA) and the upcoming Crypto Assets Monitoring Solution (CAMS). In addition, multiple case studies that were created by using the aforementioned tools and focused on the money laundering techniques employed by malicious actors were presented and discussed with the audience during the Q&A session.
