Uppsala Security Signs a Strategic Partnership Agreement with PARSIQ

Singapore, 16 April 2020 Uppsala Security, the leading provider of Risk Management Tools for Cryptocurrency AML, Regulation Compliance Analytics, and Cybersecurity, announced today the signing of a Strategic Partnership with PARSIQ, a next-gen monitoring and intelligence platform focused on bringing greater transparency to cryptocurrency transactions. With significant background and experience in FinTech, Forensics, Data Analytics, Blockchain Development, and Mathematics, PARSIQ’s mission is to help foster the mass adoption of blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies by enabling businesses handling cryptocurrencies to realize enhanced regulatory compliance.

The partnership between PARSIQ and Uppsala Security will result in the integration of Uppsala Security’s Interactive Cooperation Framework API (ICF-API) with PARSIQ‘s AML solution.

“Like every partnership, to maximize the probability of success, it is of paramount importance that the key stakeholders of that partnership share a common vision and key goals. With the partnership between PARSIQ and Uppsala Security, that is exactly the case as there are significant synergies between our two projects; consequently, we are most confident of a long and prosperous partnership between our two organizations. Based on our rigorous testing and evaluation, we are fully confident that the ICF-API will enable our users to have ready access to critically needed Threat Intelligence; therefore, this partnership will significantly contribute to the security of future crypto transactions and our public online cyberspace.” stated Tom Tirman, Co-Founder and Chief Compliance Officer, PARSIQ.

The integration of the ICF-API will enable organizations to make real-time, online queries of Threat Intelligence validated by security experts and then hosted in Uppsala Security’s crowdsourced Threat Reputation Database (TRDB). The framework is available in a standardized format enabling governments, enterprises of all sizes and types, and Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) to drastically reduce the time and resources necessary for conducting processes related to anti-money laundering (AML), anti-coin laundering (ACL), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Due Diligence.

“Cybersecurity, Regulatory Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering, and other related issues are at the core of our team’s mission. We started with the goal in mind of protecting worldwide cryptocurrency users from malicious attacks, fraud, and scams. We are most pleased to have a partner like PARSIQ at our side helping to achieve shared goals and objectives. The integration of the ICF-API is only the starting point of a long-term, successful collaboration.” — said John Kirch, Senior Vice President, Sales and Business Development, Uppsala Security. “We look at what PARSIQ has already achieved, and we are very much excited to contribute added-value by providing an extra layer of security for their leading-edge AML solution.“

PARSIQ is a platform that automates the blockchain analytics and monitoring process, providing customizable workflows with real-time intelligence. The transparent nature of most blockchains allows PARSIQ to transform massive amounts of data into actionable information. Each of its modules can be used independently, as a full-suite, or integrated into any platform of choice to maximize omniscience on the blockchain.
