Sentinel dVPN Network Stats Page
The Sentinel dVPN network has now passed several commendable network milestones including:
- Total network bandwidth usage exceeding 1 TB
2. All time high of over 120 Active Concurrent User Sessions
3. All time high of over 30 Community Hosted dVPN nodes
Using the Sentinel Stats page, Users will be able to keep track of the level of participation and utility on the Sentinel dVPN network.
The Sentinel dVPN Stats Page is now live at stats.sentinel.co
What is the dVPN Node Stats Page?
The dVPN Node Stats page clearly represents information regarding the utilization of the Sentienl dVPN network.
The various metrics that are presented include:
- Statistics on Community Hosted Nodes — A live representation of the number of active community hosted nodes on the Sentinel dVPN network as well as a historical chart

2. Statistics on the number of User Sessions — A live representation of the number of active sessions on the Sentinel dVPN network (live number of unique users) as well as a historical chart

3. Statistics on the amount of Data Bandwidth Consumed — A live representation (past 24hr) as well as a historical chart on the amount of data bandwidth consumed by users on the community hosted Sentinel dVPN network

Why is the dVPN Stats page important?
The dVPN Stats page has tremendous significance because it provides the public with statistics pertaining to the actual utility of and participation on the Sentinel dVPN network (that’s currently running on the Rinkeby Ethereum TestNet).
Users will be able to make more informed decisions and accurately conduct due-diligence when evaluating the quantifiable merit of the Sentinel Network.
Sentinel believes that all dApps that empower peer to peer resource distribution must transparently show similar statistics in order to make transparent to the public the actual relevance of their network.
The real importance of the dVPN stats page arrives when Sentinel moves to the TenderMint MainNet where payments will hold actual value and nodes will be able to monetize. At that point of time node hosts will be able to strategize their bandwidth pricing schedule as per the current demand for bandwidth on the network.
