InfoCorp Technologies Appoints Maximiliano Cañellas as Chief Technical Officer
Singapore — 28 September 2018: InfoCorp Technologies appoints Argentine Maximiliano Cañellas as Chief Technical Officer to manage the company’s technical strategy and roadmap, plan and implement new technologies, and lead the development of Sentinel Chain to greater height.
A seasoned blockchain developer with strong technical background and over 14 years of IT experience, Maximiliano, a.k.a. Maxi, is recognised by his peers as an innovator who constantly finds new solutions to optimize business processes.
Before entering the blockchain development space, Maxi spent 10 years in information security consulting. He was greatly influenced by a talk by highly revered cryptocurrency security researcher Sergio Demain Lerner on “A mysterious trip to the origin of Bitcoin”. He has since channeled his passion and energies to blockchain development rather than Bitcoin, in recognition that its potential real word use case was not only for payment processes, but the decentralized trust that the system can offer, and solve various technical, operational and legal processes.
In 2015, he co-founded Cryptologic as a blockchain fintech consultancy in Argentina. Whist working on blockchain notarisation for the Argentina government, he stumbled onto Sentinel Chain, and immediately grasped the incredible technological and social impact that it could attain, and the rest, as they say, is history.
