CrossPay App Development Updates

  1. SQLCipher implementation of Proof of Concept (POC) is done in the CrossPay app. In the POC the entire local database file was encrypted and tested so that the local mobile database can neither be read nor be edited via SQLite browser by unauthorized external entities.
  2. Last week, InfoCorp Tech’s inaugural team workshop was held in Singapore. Team members from various global locations gathered for the workshop. We held in-depth discussions that included planning for the Myanmar project go live. The 3-day workshop was highly productive with the entire team committed to shared goal of bringing financial inclusion to the ‘unbanked’. The team is geared towards the next big milestone of getting the CrossPay app live in Myanmar.

  2. Internal quality testing and bug fixing is in progress.

Announcements

On 6th September, we shared the InfoCorp Foundation August Update. It covered Myanmar Project Progress, Foundation Treasury and SENC Circulating Supply (total non-circulating supply and total circulating supply of SENC). We also shared the foundation’s governance model and our work towards establishing an advisory board, with the assistance of respectable industry veterans. The update also touched on Sentinel Chain Ecosystem, and our project as a solution that addresses 7 of 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs). Towards that goal, we are continuing to seek out, and explore opportunities to invite, like-minded corporates and individuals keen to partner Sentinel Chain community to drive positive impact to mankind, at speed and scale.

Do sign up for Consensus Singapore if you’ve not done so yet. Our CEO Roy Lai speaks on 19th September at 2:40 PM- 3:00 PM in panel discussion moderated by CoinDesk’ Ian Allison, along with representatives from USAID and Perlin on “Microcredit for cattle and distributed compute markets: Novel approaches to financial inclusion with blockchains”.

Sentinel Chain is a blockchain-based international marketplace for cross-border financial services and the world’s first platform to accept the use of livestock as collateral. Taking a unique approach to the last mile problem of financial inclusion, the Sentinel Chain model establishes livestock provenance through the creation of livestock insurance on blockchain — the registration of livestock provenance on blockchain provides the unbanked with a new opportunity: the real possibility of accepting livestock as ‘collateral’ for loans. Sentinel Chain is a project by InfoCorp Technologies
