Riverdale Country School hosted a Design Thinking for Educators event in the Bronx, New York. I was invited to be part of the two day workshop facilitated by IDEO where we were utilizing the human-centered design thinking process to ‘reimagine the library for the 21st century’. As a result IDEO developed the Design Thinking for Educators Toolkit and website. It was amazing to apply the design thinking process to reimagine education working side by side entrepreneurs and professionals in education all facilitated by IDEO. Thank you Dominic for inviting me! The event was unbelievable.

While at the event we investigated the space, interviewed students, and prototyped what a new space would look like, and obtained feedback from the potential new users.
