I’m playing catch up with all the past drabble words. Today, I will be using Proxy from day one.
I stared in the mirror, trying to calm my nerves. Today was the first day of my senior year. My issue was I hadn’t been back at Bayshore since the end of freshman year and the summer of my arrest.
Thankfully, my caseworker acted as my proxy and submitted all my transfer credits that I did while incarcerated.
Mom patted me on the back; she looked worried. “You ready for this?”
I put on a fake smile. “Yeah, no problem, it’s just school.”
And it’s time to take down an unsuspecting person with no clue the hell coming her way.
