Alister Sheppard, zipping himself up as he exited his grandson’s cell, is greeted by Constable George Harris.
“David Sheppard has a nice round arse,” Harris said to the elderly gentleman. “Don’t you think?”
Sheppard, with a slight smile, pondered the question before responding.
“I’ve been wanting to take him to bed for years,” Sheppard responded. “I’m his paternal grandfather.”
Harris, more than a little shocked, grinned like a Cheshire cat.
“I’ve been sticking it to him daily for months,” Harris said. “Desk Sergeant Richard Gough has also been making daily visits.”
Sheppard got the impression his grandson is hugely popular.
