Sapphire the cat, loved it when the weather was warm, and the windows could be open during the day. She and her human Annie lived in a one-story duplex. For the last few days, one particular bird kept coming to the window sill, and taunting Sapphire through the screen. Annie was getting almost as much entertainment from watching the cat and bird, as she was, her afternoon soaps. The bird got too close to the screen one day, and Sapphire quickly sunk two claws in, and hung on. Once Sapphire let go, the bird wobbled, fell, and limped away slowly.
