a bedtime story I wrote for my son when he was just yea big

Back when Joseph was just one year old,
He would fall asleep to the sound
of his wind-up lullaby toy.
But now that he is three and three quarters,
things are a little bit more complicated …
‘Daddy’, Joseph says, ‘Will you read me a story today?’
‘Sure, Joseph. We can read two stories.’
‘Four stories!’
