Supporting a mission takes vision. Henry Ford once said, “If I had listened to customers, I would have given them a faster horse.” This quote embodies how I try to approach my work. I want to change the world (even if it’s only in a small corner of it).
You should always listen to those you serve. But make no mistake, the hard part isn’t in listening, it’s in hearing. If you truly hear, that’s the deeper dive. That’s how you find the right solutions to the problems that may be hiding behind the symptoms.
