Bette Davis fought to prevent the classic horror film “What ever happened to Baby Jane,” starring herself and Joan Crawford, from being made in color.

She wanted it made in Black & White instead, saying that color would only make a “sad story look pretty.”

She was absolutely right.

55 years later that film is still an amazing horror.
