My best friend brought me an Aloe plant yesterday. It was a small thoughtful gesture with a roaring unspoken — I love you. undertone — “I love you.”

To say it plainly, my tribe is beautiful. I have people around me who love and understand me and make space for me in a way that is so therapeutic and sacred. This level of trust and intimacy in interpersonal relationships is powerful and necessary in times like these.
