Everyone has a life. Every life has a story. Every story has a beginning, middle, and of course an end. Some lives have brief middles with swift endings just like some have long beginnings with short middles and long drawn out ends. Every life is different. Every story is unique. Some stories end in tragedy while some end in what can only be detailed as that so cherished fairy tail phrase “happily ever after.” But a majority of stories lie somewhere in between tragedy and fairytale. As you probably know life is a thing of great beauty and wonderment but it’s not without its hardships and pain. At the end of the story all I want is to be reminded more of the beauty of life rather than the hardships.
So what choices should I make? What choices have I already made? What choices will be made for me? A great series of questions that unfortunately, cannot be met with that same haste when answering. Life is long. Drawn out. I’m 22 as of the 16th of October 2018 and I feel as though my life has been incredibly long. I can remember vivid memories from when I was as young as three. For whatever reason I’ve been blessed with very good memory for events, learning, even miscellaneous facts I read on Twitter and other social media platforms. It’s not a blessing to have memory like this not a curse either; rather, something between the two. I can tell you exactly what I was doing a year ago at exactly this hour. Two years, three, four, five, ten, until I was about three. Interesting? I don’t see how it couldn’t be. So what decisions have I made that are good or bad? What have I improved on? What have I not learned from due to blissful ignorance? We will talk about my life choices, lessons, and stories in this series as it’s titled “Life” for that very reason. Time to explore my life.
